FOR two consecutive Saturdays in February, Bude Nippers travelled to St Ives to compete in the Cornish Stillwater competition.

The 8-10 year olds competed on February 18 and the 11-13 year olds on February 25.

Thirteen teams of approximately 500 Nippers competed. Bude's team of 34, which was small in comparison to many other clubs, came tenth overall.
