WHILST he's unlikely to follow in the footsteps of Jamaican Olympic Gold Medallist Usain Bolt, Bude man Mark Clements is confident he can realise his own special achievement when he takes on the Great North Run in Newcastle next month.
A keen sportsman, Mark is a former Bude RFC and Stratton United FC player, and now spends much of his spare time playing squash, golf and cycling. He won't be caught unprepared by the challenge; Mark has been training hard in preparation over the previous weeks, with long distance evening runs a staple part of his current daily routine.
