ADAM Roebuck from Bude has hopes of swimming for Great Britain at the paralympics one day after winning 11 golds, four silvers and two bronze medals since he started competing in November last year.
Adam, who is 15 years old, attends Budehaven Community College and has learning disability.
He started swimming with Bude Sharks swimming club approximately 18 months ago and has progressed extraordinarily since. His mum Andrea Dailly first encouraged him to start swimming for a bit of exercise but it soon became apparent he had an exceptional talent in the water.
He competed for the first time last November in the Sharks club championships. Since then he has competed in Yeovil, Plymouth, Hatfield and Penzance winning 11 golds, four silvers and two bronze medals on his way.
