BUDE & North Golf Club held its annual two round Club Championship gross and nett competitions recently. The course was in the best condition of the year and 45 players took part over the weekend in the competitions. Thanks went to Pat and Carol, who welcomed everyone on the second day at the 18th hole with strawberries and cream, and a glass of punch. The gross competition came to an exciting end, with the first playoff for the title in club history — which happened to be between brothers Adam and Ryan Curtis. Adam was the victor after a two hole playoff over the 17th and 18th holes. For the full report, and a round-up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
