IT took the All Blacks most of the first half to gain control but finished worthy winners.
The visitors' big pack caused problems but the All Blacks' back row of Owain Lloyd, open side skipper Tom Rawlings and his brother Michael as No 8 were so effective they started to turn the tide, assisted by lock Josh Lord.
An infringement at a scrum gave Dings a penalty in the first minute but fly half Mitch Burton missed the relatively easy kick. Dings continued to attack and started to bring their backs into the action.
It was 15 minutes before the All Blacks mounted an attack and when wing Aaron Struminski raced down the right Dings were penalised for coming in at the side of the subsequent ruck. Home full back Kieron Lewitt landed the penalty.
