THE wedding of Grand National winner Daryl Jacob to local girl Tina Drowne took place at Ashwater Parish Church on Tuesday, August 7.

Plenty were in attendance to see the couple exchange their vows on what was a lovely occasion, despite the grey skies and wet weather.

Faces from the horse racing profession were present; jockeys and trainers gathering alongside family and friends for the ceremony, which commenced at 11am.
