COME along, join in the fun and see what is on offer at the Holsworthy Youth Club’s Spring Fete being held on Sunday, April 24.
The fete has been organised by the Holsworthy & Rural CATS (Community Action Through Sport), who run the Holsworthy Youth Club, to celebrate their first year anniversary and as a way of thanking the community for the support they have given.
Karen Hemmings, project development manager for CATS and volunteer for Holsworthy & Rural CATS, said: “The spring fete, running from 11am to 4pm, is a great opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the first year anniversary of the successful re-opening of Holsworthy Youth Club and the continuation of local youth provision.
“It will also be an opportunity for the volunteer-led Holsworthy & Rural CATS committee to thank the local community for all their support and for helping us to achieve so much at the youth club in our first year.”
There will be a barbecue, cake stall, a vintage display and an exhibition of young people’s artworks created at the youth club.
There will also be a host of activities, a tombola and the local fire brigade plan to attend with a vehicle and local Police/PCSOs will be there doing finger printing and property marking.
A tabletop sale is being held on the day, for anyone interested in setting up their own table there is a cost of £5 and to book contact Helen on 07592 950025.
Holsworthy & Rural CATS are always keen to recruit more volunteers to support their work at Holsworthy Youth Club and to benefit young people in the Holsworthy area.
