TWO dental nurses from April Lodge Dental Practice recently paid a visit to Stratton Playgroup to highlight the importance of keeping teeth healthy.

Vicky and Nicky, from April Lodge, visited Stratton Playgroup on May 4, and the children learnt a lot about how to look after their teeth and what can affect them.

During the lesson, the children learnt that they must brush twice a day – once in the morning and once before they go to bed – for two minutes a time.

Additionally, they were told that milk helps to keep teeth strong, eating sugary foods isn’t good for teeth, and eating fruit and vegetables is good for teeth.
