TWO members of Camelford Young Farmers’ Club (YFC) joined the Cornwall YFC to tackle a 100-mile walk along Hadrian’s Wall recently as part of the charity event ‘Ed’s Expedition’.

Camelford YFC members Becky Franklin and Heather Harper joined their fellow young farmers on Sunday morning, April 29, in Newcastle and spent five days walking to Carlisle.

In the end the team travelled 110 miles and were pleased to raise £5,000 for the Cornwall Birth and Baby Appeal.

Becky said: “We walked from Newcastle to Carlisle over five days and covered Hadrian’s Wall from start to end. We all had a fantastic week with no rain.”
