TWO young couples who thought they could never afford their own homes, have joined the property ladder thanks to a Holsworthy based charity, allowing them to remain living in the area.

Gary Heywood and Sophie Cobbledick, along with Rhys and Leanne Chard from Bridgerule, purchased their properties through Homes for Holsworthy; a charity and trust which builds and manages properties in the area for shared equity sale or for rent to local people who are unable to afford open market prices.
