SUPREME Cheer and Dance Academy attended a regional cheerleading competition during the weekend of April 13, in Cardiff.
The athletes had lots of fun and bought home three trophies for their efforts. Their routines included gymnastic tumbles, stunts, jumps and dance.
27 athletes from Launceston ranging from aged seven years to 15 years, competed over three routines.
The most commendable achievements from the academy were: Junior Level 2 — second place; Junior Level 1 — fourth place; and Youth Level 1 — fourth place.
The group have now qualified for a national competition in May 2019.
Hannah Stagg head coach of Supreme Cheer and Dance Academy said: “We are extremely proud of all of our athletes and would like to thank all of our cheer families for their continued support.
“Well done everyone!”
