ST Mabyn Young Farmers have raised £500 to support the village’s new community shop.
A cheque was presented at the annual general meeting on October 12.
The new shop, occupying a former derelict site next to the St Mabyn village hall, is a Community Benefit Society, owned and managed by residents, and maintains a vital service for its community.
St Mabyn YFC has also donated £1,500 to the Cornwall Birth And Baby Appeal based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, and £1,500 to the RNLI Port Isaac appeal.
