The Met Office has put out a yellow weather warning for strong winds and gales from 9pm this evening (Wednesday) until 3pm tomorrow.
There is a warning out for the whole of South West England, plus another for Wales and parts of England.
The Met Office said: "Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely. Some short term loss of power and other services is possible. Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely. Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer."
Overnight tonight there will be gales across the South West not only in coastal areas but also inland.
The weather will continue unsettled through to Saturday, with strong winds throughout, and with severe gales likely on coasts, and with frequent blustery showers, some possibly with hail.
