WITH a country and western theme it is time to don that 10-gallon hat or Mohican outfit for the Tetcott Hunt’s Summer Barn Bash.

Organiser, Alethea Bick, said: “It’s an opportunity to enjoy a fantastic fundraising evening while dancing the night away to the Barstool Bishops. The bucking bronco should be a great attraction with a prize for the person who can stay on the longest.

“Hunger pangs can be satisfied by tucking into bacon baps, burgers, hot dogs and carvery rolls from the hunt supporters club catering trailer and washed down with a glass or two from the fully licensed bar.

“And those who don’t fancy the journey home afterwards can bed down under the stars in true cowboy fashion or pitch a tent in the free camping area.”

The event takes place on July 30, at Green Park, just off the A3072 at Burnards House to the west of Holsworthy, and runs from 8pm until 2am. Tickets, which must be bought in advance, are available from Alethea on 07749 076504, calling in at Harpers Seeds, Holsworthy or Bridgmans, Kilkhampton.
