BUDE had the match wrapped up by half time as all the goals came in the first period, writes Gary Hodgson.
Inside the first ten minutes a mix up in defence from Lee Jacket and his fellow centre back allowed Bude striker Dan Starkey in to lob the 'keeper from the edge of the box.
Bude were soon two up when a Billy Hopcroft corner picked out Liam Sandercock whose bullet header flew inside the near post. They made it three after 20 minutes, another Hopcroft corner was flicked on by Sandercock and Starkey controlled at the back post and dispatched his shot away for his second of the game.
Jason Ferrett scored Bude's fourth with a close range effort, before St Dominick reduced the arrears with a well taken strike from Aaron West, 20 yards from goal.
Bude's four goal advantage was restored just before half time when Hopcroft went from provider to scorer as a left foot strike went in under the legs of the home 'keeper.
St Dominic were much more in the game throughout the second half but were still only restricted to long range shots which were often troubling the corner flags more than the 'keeper and Bude's more laid back attitude to the second half saw them create fewer chances than the previous half. Bude won despite Mervyn Palmer watching!
