MORWENSTOW started this Premier Division fixture playing down hill and were wound up for this bottom of the table clash against Probus writes Anna Francis.

The greens opened the scoring in the fifth minute when Keith Cornish's corner kick found Gary Walter whose hard low drive was cleared by a defender and fell at the feet of Djamel Bousahla to slot home.

In the 15th minute Jordan Dunn's free kick to Keith Cornish was headed on to Ashley Thomas who nipped in front of the 'keeper and nodded the ball into the back of the net.

Morwenstow played some great football and created some good chances. It was in the 35th minute that Paul Sluggett's corner kick was whipped in at the near post with great pace and the 'keeper was unable to keep the ball out to make the score 3- 0 at half time.

The second half saw some fast paced and rather scrappy football at times, Probus were desperate to pull a goal back and Morwenstow kept pressing. It was in the 53rd minute that Probus got their goal when Gareth Harris's long range shot curled inside the top corner.

Morwenstow looked nervous and substitutions were made. The fresh legs certainly paid off when sub Phil Horton kept the ball in up the line and crossed to Djamel Bousahla to head in at the far post in the 78th minute.

Ten minutes later a flick on from Djamel Bousahla found Phil Horton on the edge of the box who chipped the 'keeper and the ball slowly trickled over the line to complete the scoring.
