POLICE?are appealing for witnesses to a collision between two vehicles on the A39 near Bude on Monday, January 2.
Emergency services were called just before 2.45pm after the collision between a Renault people carrier and a Renault van on the A39 Treskinnick Cross, Poundstock.
Both the north and southbound lanes were closed in order to facilitate the landing of the air ambulance.
The Renault people carrier contained two adults and five children. All seven occupants were taken to hospital by both air and land ambulances.
Police described their injuries as stable.
The occupant of the Renault van sustained minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.
The road remained closed while a forensic examination of the collision scene was conducted. It was reopened at 5.55pm.
Officers from the Serious Collisions Investigation Team are asking for anybody who witnessed the collision to contact the police via [email protected] or by phone on 101, quoting log reference number 353/02/01/17.
