Diners at a big breakfast event held at the Brendon Arms in Bude on Saturday tucked in and helped to help raise money for the North Devon Hospice.

Following the big breakfast and wine and wisdom event held last Wednesday week, cheques and cash were presented to North Devon Hospice fundraiser Jenny Richardson on Monday at the Brendon Arms.

A cheque for £400, which was raised from the wine and wisdom for the Long House Appeal at Holsworthy, and 79 envelopes from the big breakfast, which contained at least £4.95 after expenses, were also presented.
