APPLICATIONS to a wind turbine fund that supports community projects in St Thomas and South Petherwin are being welcomed.
The Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF) is welcoming applications to the Papillon Fund for the benefit of the local community.
It awards small grants to grassroots, front line, volunteer led organisations who are making a positive impact in their area.
The Papillon Fund supports community projects, within the parishes of St Thomas and South Petherwin.
Out of area applications may be considered on the condition the beneficiaries attending the project reside within the listed parishes — evidence of this will be required.
Grants range from £250 to £1,000, larger sums can be awarded in exceptional circumstances. First time applicants will take priority.
The CCF administers the Papillon Fund on behalf of Mr and Mrs Finnimore.
Judith Finnimore said: “We are delighted to be able along with Clean Earth’s generous Community Benefit donation, to help as many local clubs and projects over the next 20 years.”
Application forms and grant guidelines, including full eligibility, are available to download from www.cornwallfoundation.com, or contact the office on 01566779333 for further information, the application deadline date is April 10.
