Vice-Captain Ron Gilbert with Neil Wallace led the team losing 2 and 1, Robert Taylor and Ken Marriott won 2 and 1, Arthur Radclyffe and Bernie Boniface won by one hole, Jim Ryan and John Gardiner lost 3 and 1, Dave Watters and John Ricketts halved, Dave Patrick and Llew Courtenay lost 3 and 2, Andy Muir and Peter Turner halved, and Den Haydon with John Moxey lost 4 and 3.
Neil Wallace won the Captain's bottle of wine for nearest the pin.
Match Monday June 8 — Away match to Carlyon Bay, some showers but not enough to stop the Seasiders winning by 51/2 matches to 21/2.
Captain Barry Sykes and Robert Taylor won by 2 holes, Andy Muir and Dave Patrick won 2 and 1, Arthur Radclyffe and Llew Courtenay halved, Den Haydon and John Ricketts won 2 and 1, Jim Ryan and Dave Tucker won 7 and 6, Neil Wallace and Norman Tucker halved, John Taylor and John Gardiner lost 5 and 4, and John Manktelow with Ron Brandwood halved.
John Manktelow rounded off his day by winning the Captain's bottle of wine for nearest the pin.
