On Saturday, April 25 Pat Griffiths held a Primrose Garden Party at her home in Widemouth Bay. Despite the weather, gale force winds, heavy showers, and losing the gazebo, the day was a great success. Pat said: "My idea at the beginning was to raise £175 for one biopsy needle for one woman to be diagnosed." However, thanks to donations and people's support, the total raised, with donations still coming in, is an amazing £1,550. Pat thanked all the people who had supported her and said: "Now so many more women can be helped."
