BOSCASTLE WI held a special Cornwall Hospice Care charity day at the village hall on Saturday, June 25.
Visitors were able to enjoy light lunches, and a range of other refreshments.
A raffle was held and there were various stalls for people to browse, including plants and bric-a-brac.
The event was well supported and the day raised £572.
Sue Viner, president of Boscastle WI, said: “Most years we do a coffee morning to try and raise a few funds for ourselves and we try and do it for charity as well, this year for Cornwall Hospice. We raised £572, we are really chuffed about it! We were amazed at how much we raised.”
From the total raised, half if not more will be given to the charity.
