BUDE Women’s Institute chose FLEET (Front Line Emergency Equipment Trust) as their charity of the year and have managed to raise over £1,500 for them.
FLEET is a registered charity that relies entirely on donations and fundraising to facilitate the installation of the defibrillators so it is essential they keep momentum going.
Having already received a cheque for £500 from the WI, Norman Trebilcock from FLEET visited the Bude group last week to pick up another cheque, this time for £1,025.
After the visit, he said: “Great to visit Bude WI this evening. Thank you very much.”
