STAFF and customers of Whitstone Village Stores raised nearly £2,300 to help the most seriously ill babies in the South West.
Village store proprietors Daniel and Kyla Cock presented £2,021.85 to the Cots for Tots appeal for the neo-natal unit at St Michael's hospital in Bristol on Thursday (July 21).
They handed over a further £250 to the fetal medicine unit at the hospital to support pioneering research which will allow better diagnosis and treatment for unborn babies with medical problems.
