Devon Wheels 2 Work, based at Halwill Junction, recently took part in the Pirate Fm Radiothon, donating a pair of brand new bike boots to the auction. The winning bid was from Maureen Cooper who purchased the boots for her daughter Adrienne. Adrienne went in to collect her boots and was so thrilled with the ones she picked that she wanted to wear them home! They have a large range of boots and she chose a pair of Nitros in red. Max Jowett CEO of Devon Wheels 2 Work said: "We like to show our support to local charities because if it wasn't for local people we wouldn't be the success we are today." As well as a large range of clothing and accessories, they have a fully equipped workshop for service, repair and MOTs. Devon Wheels 2 Work is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, which helps people from rural areas of Devon get to their work place or training centre by arranging the hire of a motor at a fraction of the normal cost.
