A LEVEL results and a memorable Bude Carnival are amongst the offering in this week’s Post Series.

Last week saw students at the local schools and colleges find out their results with some superb success.

Inside are pictures and results from Budehaven School, Callington Community College, Callywith College, Launceston College and Shebbear College.

Bude also hosted it’s first carnival post-pandemic on Saturday with a superb turnout both in entries and the crowd.

Hundreds lined the streets for the 100^th Bude Carnival, the first since the passing of carnival stalwarts, Margaret Frost and Stu Bell.

More serious matters are also noted including coroner’s comments on ‘repugnant’ posts online following the suicide of Ethan Butler, while key stakeholders from the local area have met to discuss what can be done to avoid a repeat of illegal raves at Davidstow.
