HOLY Saturday saw a crowd gather in the sunshine at Historic Wesley Cottage, Trewint, for the opening of the newly created Prayer Garden.

The Rev Steve Wild, Chair of the Cornwall District of the Methodist Church which owns Wesley Cottage, was assisted by representatives from throughout the county in leading a short act of worship that introduced different aspects of prayer.

Those attending were from all over the South-West and from as far afield as Mauritius for the occasion.
