PLOUGH Poetry prize winner Margaret Livingston has been leading workshops at the Area Resource Base in Camelford, as part of the Journeys Arts Festival being run by the Moor and Coastal Partnership Trust.

The trust's aim is to bring unique arts workshops to schools and communities in North Cornwall.

Children started off the workshop singing traditional rhymes about boats. Natalie Hartley, who runs the Area Resource Base said: "A favourite activity was making sails with pieces of material and a big fan. The children have enjoyed using fabrics to make flags and resources to make a tactile journey storyboard."

Margaret is also running poetry workshops at Delabole Primary School as part of the same project and will be leading a community workshop at St Breward School on May 30 from1pm to 4pm. More details can be found on the Moor and Coastal Partnership Trust website or on the Facebook Page.

The Plough Poetry prize is run by the Plough Arts Centre in Torrington.
