DUNHEVED Residents' Association members have purchased two new grit bins for their area following a successful grant application to their Cornwall councillor.
The association asked Jade Farrington, Liberal Democrat Cornwall Councillor for Launceston South, for help funding new grit bins and the rock salt to fill them.
Cllr Farrington said: "It's brilliant to see more and more residents' associations working together and really taking responsibility for their areas. I've been pleased to use part of my community chest to fund things like grit bins and litter pickers which help Launceston to help itself. Dunheved Residents' Association is very active and committee members work hard all year round."
