Week St Mary's Harvest Queen, Kekezza Stripp rode side saddle to her crowning this year on Saturday, September 19 at the Week St Mary Revel. She was accompanied by her Crown Bearer, Jack Biggs and attendants Chloe Morris and Zola Courtenay who travelled in a pony and jingle.
There was a large procession of fancy dress competitors and flag waving parishioners and visitors who followed Mike Goodman in his patriotic truck which provided the music for the event.
The crowning ceremony was presided over by Rev Rob Dickenson in Week St Mary playing field where the revel fair was in full swing. Last year's Harvest Queen Katie Goodman thanked the parish for their support during the year and placed the harvest Queen's crown and sash on the new Queen.
Charlotte Booker and Amelia Jessop presented flowers and William Cox presented fruit to the new Queen who then made her vows for the year.
