AS PART of their community programme, Bude Haven Sub Aqua Club got together with the local National Trust Rangers to run a 'Try Snorkel' event at Boscastle on Sunday, September 9.
The club has spent the summer working with Aqua Stars swim school (based at Woodacott) and St Joseph's School (Launceston) to train around 100 youngsters in the basic skills required for snorkelling.
The enthusiastic swimming club members were put through a range of skills and exercises once they'd been taught the basics by Lucy Fanet, the dive club's, and one the country's youngest snorkel instructors.
