THIS year's Holsworthy Honey Show returned on Saturday, October 13 after its absence last year, and was once again held in the town's Methodist Church Hall in Bodmin Street.
While formally opening the event, Cllr John Allen of Holsworthy Town Council impressed those gathered with his knowledge of the craft, he was also enthusiastic about the potential for an even bigger celebration of beekeeping and honey in the future.
Holsworthy Honey Show is hosted by local beekeepers who are all members of the Holsworthy Branch of Devon Beekeepers' Association. Membership of this district group is now over 90.
One of the show organisers, Christopher Smith, said it was rewarding to see so many new members participating in this event.
