IF you took the weather away, a very nice day was enjoyed at North Cornwall Hunt’s Camelford meet on Boxing Day.
Hunt chairman Mike Biddick said it was dry for the meet in the town but ‘awful’ when they got up on the moors.
He added: “They packed up about 2pm because it was so bad. The town turned out really good again. They give a good welcome in Camelford.
“I think there were about 30 horses but it was a terrible day, it wasn’t much fun I can tell you!”
