A CAMELFORD resident has expressed concern that Cornwall Council will no longer employ a warden at his sheltered housing. The resident, who lives at Anvil Court, said he received a letter stating that there would no longer be a warden, who he said currently operates three times a week, as of September 26. However, the managing director of Cornwall Council owned Cornwall Housing Ltd, Jane Barlow, said its sheltered housing schemes were under review. Ms Barlow said: "We are currently undertaking a fundamental review of our sheltered housing schemes, including Anvil Court. "The review has started and will be ongoing over the next few months. It is hoped that a staff presence will be maintained at Anvil at least until the end of the review."
