HOLSWORTHY man Ken Watson along with his friends, Keith Rixson from Rydon Village and Richard Prouse from the Rydon Inn, completed the 11 mile 'Man Trek'.

The walk, in aid of North Devon Hospice, took place from Bideford to Barnstaple on Sunday, February 10 along with another 400 or so males of all ages in atrocious weather conditions.

Ken said: "The walk was made more enjoyable by the excellent organisation of the event by Gerard Fawcitt and his team from North Devon Hospice, and sponsorship, pasties and beer from local businesses."
