Tintagel Memorial Playing Fields awaits the outcome of its application to Cornwall Council to extend the existing changing rooms at the pavilion.

The application was submitted on Monday, September 28 to extend facilities at Tintagel’s Cricket Clubhouse to provide a larger space for users of the facility, including football, cricket, tennis, junior football and ladies’ tennis’ to change in.

The plans include a north and east elevation with an elevation extending to the football field to provide for additional sports requirements — the extension will be completed to match the aesthetic of the existing building.

The plans show the site will extend onto part of the existing car park while still leaving around 50 parking spaces, ample for users.

The plan is to be determined before Monday, December 7.
