NEVER mind the Christmas shopping — it’s time to sing!
Wadebridge Choral Society’s Christmas concert will take place at St Minver Church on Saturday, December 17 at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the Wadebridge Bookshop, members of the choir and on the door. Those interested are encouraged to book early, as this is a popular event.
The major work this year will be ‘Where Icicles Hang’, composed by the ever-popular John Rutter.
As with all of his works, it is full of delightful music, easy to enjoy. There will also be Holsts’ ‘Christmas Day’, carols for the choir and carols for the audience to join in. The conductor will be director of music, Nicholas Danks, and the accompanist is the much-admired Jo Naylor.
