SAINSBURY'S Bude is celebrating after raising £3,619 for Comic Relief.

Colleagues took part in a number of fundraising events during the week leading up to Red Nose Day, which took place on Friday, March 13.

Activities included a colleague having their head shaved and another their chest waxed, four colleagues completing the high wires challenge at Adventure International, book and bric-a-brac stalls, a flower stall, raffles, name the teddy, filling a giant red nose with 5p coins and children designing their own red noses, with customers joining in the fun.

The store also had support from local businesses selling noses, and both Bude Infants and Junior schools fundraising for the cause.
