“One more vehicle off the road”, was a comment given by Launceston Town Council’s planning committee when discussing an application for a proposed drop kerb to create parking for one vehicle at an address in Kensey Valley Meadow, Launceston.

Councillors considered the plans, submitted by Mrs Lucy Prout, at their meeting on Thursday, January 14. Committee chairman Rob Tremain said: “One more vehicle off the road on that tight estate.”

The vote was unanimous. The final decision lies with Cornwall Council.
