Volunteers from BTCV spent last Friday having a clean-up in Camelford's Enfield Park. Camelford Town Council was approached some time ago by Tom David from BTCV who asked if the volunteers could do some work in the park. They cut back some branches and cleared some of the pond. The Mayor of Camelford, Brian Lush, lent a hand, as did Cllrs John Pearce and Aaron Scawn (who actually ended up in the pond). There were also some other volunteers who helped during the day. Cllr Scawn told the 'Post': "The council is very grateful to Tom David and his dedicated skilled volunteers who have come up to Camelford for the fourth time to help clear the pond and other park maintenance."
