CHARITY workers from Cornwall and Devon have been working hard to gather donations for refugees in France.

On Saturday, July 14, volunteers for Mobile Refugee Support, including Robert Butler from Launceston, loaded a container full of aid to be sent to France, which will provide refugees enduring poor living conditions with food, clothing and sleeping necessities.

A container is also being prepared for France in September, with another in October and November time.

Launceston volunteer Robert, who goes out to France regularly to help with aid, told the Post that 60% of Mobile Refugee Support’s donations come from the South West.
