VISITORS to Summerleaze beach in Bude are being advised to exercise caution after the recent storms created a sand ‘cliff’ on the upper shore.
As a result there is currently a 6-7ft drop in the level of the sand at one of the beach access points. Crews from Cormac will be monitoring the situation and are in the process of putting up signs to warn visitors to take care.
When the weather subsides, the situation will be assessed and action will be taken if and where appropriate.
