THE 29th annual Holsworthy Vintage Vehicle and Engine Rally, held on the showground at Killatree last Saturday and Sunday (June 27 and 28) was a great success, attracting a large number of visitors and exhibitors on both days.
Throughout the two days there were parades, a car auction and demonstrations in the arena by Tetcott Hunt, the fire service, the Fiat 500 Club and Allstars Majorettes with an always entertaining commentary provided by Mike Johns.
The 100 or so cars ranged from a 1911 Model T Ford to gleaming Jaguars and American limousines. For many visitors of more advanced years the show is a nostalgic trip where models of cars owned and loved years ago come back to life.
