CARNIVAL week at St Breward went off with a bang on Sunday, after a successful luncheon, organised by St Breward Church's PCC treasurer Caroline Hooper.

Caroline said: "There was a really good turn out for the annual carnival service and lunch which marks the start of St Breward's Carnival Week.

"This was a special morning service with the emphasis on prayers for favourable weather and our wonderful vicar, Rev Canon Sherry Bryan, commented on the very excellent community spirit that exists in our village."
