ST PRATT'S Festival is an ancient tradition in Blisland, recently threatened with extinction, but now revived in a new form.
On Sunday, September 25, 55 people gathered in church to celebrate the feast day, not in the afternoon as before, but this time as a cluster service in the morning.
The bells rang out as Camelford Band assembled to accompany the singing, for a light-hearted service of celebration during which Mavis Miles was thanked for her considerable work for the church and presented with a token of appreciation by Rev Canon Sherry Bryan on behalf of the parochial church council.
