AROUND 80 children in Delabole got out their Hallowe'en costumes to go around the village trick or treating.
Yet again the biggest display was staged at the home of Helen Ferguson, of Pengelly, and a constant flow of children paid a visit to see the witches, ghosts and pumpkins surrounding Helen's drive.
Also a Bright and Light evening was held at St John's Church, organised by Sue Wilcox and Eddy Krolik, for those who did not want to dress up in costume. Around 24 children and adults went along to take part in craft making, games and plenty of food and drink.
Sue said: "I am very pleased with the turn-out for this event and it seems to get bigger each year."
