THE best of Devon’s Sunday lunch providers are battling it out to be crowned the Devon Life Food and Drink champion — with Lifton Hall Hotel hoping to retain their title.

Last year, Lifton Hall Hotel was delighted to receive the accolade of Devon Life Food and Drink awards champion for the ‘Best Devon Sunday Roast’. Lifton Hall Hotel is co-owned by Robert Fleming and Richard Elworthy.

Robert and Richard are hoping they can retain their coveted title.

Co-owner Robert said: “We are extremely proud to be shortlisted again this year for the Devon Life Food and Drink awards ‘Best Devon Sunday Roast’ category.

“A big thank you to everyone who voted to get us there. As last year’s winners, the pressure is on, so as a team we will be working as hard as ever to prepare the great food we do week in week out.”

The results will be announced at an awards evening to be held at Sandy Park on Thursday, November 2.
