THERE will be a Christmas lights switch on in Pyworthy on December 5.

The lights will be switched on at the Greenaway’s, Derriton Road, at 6.30pm by Rob Moores.

This will be followed at Pyworthy Village Hall by bacon baps and scones, jam and cream and entertainment from local primary school pupils.

The event will be raising money for Ochre, a charity promoting awareness of Oesophayead cancer.
