ST BREWARD'S Memorial Hall was the venue for the launch and signing of two new books by authors with a strong connection with the village.

Wales based Katherine Stansfield, who grew up in St Breward, and village resident David Corns both launched their first books; Katherine with a novel set in a fictional Cornish village based on St Ives, and David with a children's book about a family of wallabies living on Bodmin Moor, near St Breward.
