WELL Bridgerule did it again, the village sent three tableaux along to the very large and colourful Bradworthy Carnival last Saturday and all three entries came home with a second prize.

Again, the village queen looked resplendent in her beautifully decorated float with her two attendants.

The Tamarside singers looked fabulous in their uniforms and clothes of the 1940s and the comic entry having a friendly dig at how long the Bude roundabout took to complete along with the necessary workman’s toilet, kept many people amused.

The sun shone, the playing field where the floats congregated to be judged was full to bursting and happily the people came in big numbers to watch.

Thanks were expressed to those who organised the carnival and were happy for Bridgerule to join in with their event.
